PLEASE NOTE: Most parking tickets issued have photographs taken as supportive evidence which will be viewed when considering an appeal.

Some grounds that are NOT valid reasons for appeal are:

- that the parking restrictions were unfair

- that you had only gone to get change for the meter

- that you had only parked for a few minutes

- that you were not causing an obstruction

- that there was nowhere else to park

- that you were delayed on the phone

- that you have a resident's permit for your car, but that you were

not driving the car for which it is valid

If your appeal is received NOT LATER THAN THE LAST DAY OF THE PERIOD 14 DAYS BEGINNING WITH THE DATE ON WHICH THE PENALTY CHARGE NOTICE WAS SERVED the PCN will be held at the discounted amount.
